How much do you know about vibrations, and how they influence your life? Do you know that everyone can shift frequency to operate on a different vibration – whether it be higher or lower – and your daily life will be changed significantly?
This isn’t as obscure as it sounds. If you feel good about yourself everyday, you could say you are on a good vibration. You attract more good things to you to maintain this good feeling. The more positive energy you put into your life, the better your vibration is. You will know when you’re on a good vibration because:
– You feel capable of handling daily situations and are comfortable and excited about your routine.
– You find it easy to smile and laugh, you are witty and you enjoy making conversation.
– You respect your children, friends and family and find that spending time with them is a joy.
– You are confident in your choices and have high self-esteem.
– You feel safe and strong.
– You are full of compliments and praise for others.
– You are sleeping well and are comfortable with your dreams.
You will know you are on a not-so-good vibration when:
– You frequently feel uneasy, frustrated or annoyed by simple events in your daily routine.
– You are finding it hard to smile and enjoy your day, as you are busy and there is so much pressure and responsibility on you.
– Your children are making your day even harder, and the help you are receiving from others is not the kind of help you want. Friends and family around you seem to talk of their problems more than usual and their issues are bothering you.
– You are thinking about whether your parenting choices are right and worrying about what others have said. You are talking a lot with others, including strangers, about problems you are having such as feeding, sleep deprivation, the terrible-two’s, your work, teenagers, etc.
– You sometimes feel anxious, nervous or afraid.
– You tend to complain about other people and situations that make you unhappy.
– You don’t feel like you are getting enough sleep and you may have bad dreams. You are not refreshed when you wake up.
What many people don’t realise is the effect of what you swallow on changing your frequency to a different vibration. You might need a coffee or tea every day to help you function. You might take pain-killers after childbirth or an injury, or a natural remedy to help you sleep. You may take paracetamol for your headache, or a natural health or a homeopathic remedy to help your mind and body with better focus, higher energy levels, or to settle nerves. You might eat refined sugar several times per day in packaged foods, juices or treats. Each of these examples has the end-result of altering your mood: you feel better for a time.
We all know the physical effect of changing what you eat or take: You start missing the ‘sugar-hit’ and feel low on energy … or your body craves what is has become addicted to… you get cranky … Yet here is another important way of looking at it.
Many mood-altering foods or supplements work on a vibrational level in your body and help you
- shift vibration
to get the desired outcome.
It’s important you are aware of this before you put anything that is mood-altering into your body, or suddenly stop taking a mood-altering food, stimulant or supplement. Because when you assist your body to alter your mood, you may alter your vibration for longer than you realise (through repetitive training) or in a different way to what you expected. You may find you suddenly feel really good about life and yourself, or the opposite: everything is wearing you down and you are low on energy. Think about how this may affect your children.
The commonly accepted medical way of explaining this phenomenon in teenagers and adults is that the person has a condition, such as depression or anxiety. The person has a pre-disposition to this condition and it was dormant in the body until triggered, by a drug, traumatic event, and so on. It is generally easier to understand this explanation than ‘You have changed vibration’. And it can be easy to fix the problem too – with a new selection of mood-altering drugs, a prescription from your doctor.
We see, in our own families as well as the families we see away from home, kids that react strongly and quickly, seem unhappy and unsocial, don’t smile or laugh often, or treat their parents, teachers (and other children) roughly or rudely. We explain this as tired, disobedient, rough or naughty, unsocial, sooky or ‘behind’.
Another comment I hear often is that feeling stressed and down is normal for busy parents. The feeling will pass when the kids give you a break, your partner helps out more, you earn more money, your baby brain goes, etc. Again this is easier to recognise than ‘changing vibrations’.
You and your children don’t have to feel this way.
Some people are more sensitive to shifting frequency. If you know that you, or another person, is SENSITIVE to comments, is tender or easily hurt, and has allergic reactions or food sensitivities, they are more likely to shift vibration than someone who is not. The slightest trigger may alter their mood and what happens in their life dramatically. You can be born sensitive or become more sensitive as you age. It is more common for younger generations to be sensitive from an earlier age – because humans, as time passes, are becoming more sensitive in nature. (Think of how common allergic reactions and depression are becoming).
Some people are born on a vibration that is a lower frequency, so they have negative mood experiences from very early on. The risk to parents is buying into the belief that it is a ‘condition’. I believe that if the condition is related to mood, it can be changed with a shift in vibration.
It is very helpful to look at your children in this way: is he or she a sensitive child? If they are emotionally needy or have allergic reactions, watch also for major changes in their mood (perhaps destructive, disrespectful, disconnected behaviour) if you suddenly remove or ADD a food, supplement or stimulant, to their diet.
For some parents, depression and anxiety start around the time they become parents – as it did or me. Perhaps like me, it started around the time they changed the way they were looking after their body, specifically with mood-altering foods or supplements. I suddenly stopped drinking tea and coffee – then I had strong pain-killers after my Caesarian, both of these were significant triggers to altering my mood and changing my body’s default vibration. I am now on a good vibration with a healthy body and I can feel the short and long term effects of a mood-altering food or stimulant immediately. I avoid putting anything mood-altering into my mouth and explain this to others as ‘an allergy to sugar, wine, remedies, pain-killers, etc’.
How can you stay on a good vibration?
Identify any mood-altering trigger. What have you stopped taking, or what have you started taking, that gave you a physical reaction or was the beginning of your changed mood? Think simply: tea, cigarettes, wine/beer, natural remedies, health supplements, prescription and non-prescription medicine.
The best thing you can do is remove the mood-altering food, supplement or stimulant from your diet. A healthy natural diet of fresh fruit and vegetables, unprocessed / unrefined grains, natural sweeteners and organic meats and dairy is best.
However if you feel that you are taking the stimulant for the right reason, or you are acting on advice by a professional and it feels right, carry on with swallowing whatever it is that you’re swallowing. Take the advice of professionals on how to handle your situation – get help in deciding what to do – but most importantly, maintain consistency so your body can adapt to its new default mood.
It can take days or weeks for your mind and boy to re-learn its default mood. If you’re happy for a good period of time (3-6 weeks at least), you have found a good vibration. Think and talk frequently about why you are happy and comfortable, and enjoy! (Do not take any mood-altering food or stimulants or supplements). If you are unhappy, however, it’s time to figure out how to improve your mood, or lift your vibration to a higher frequency. Some ideas on how to do this are listed in my article ‘Better health: mind, body, spirit’.
And make sure you tell others where you have been and where you are now…
“I’m on a really good vibration right now!”
